What routers do you offer?
INNOVATION by ISIS is a series of compact Analog and SDI Routers, providing users with unique flexibility, and reliable, high quality, low cost systems. Each rack-mount frame contains independent analog or digital video and audio modules and power supply that can all be installed and removed from the front of the matrix frame. This allows for quick and easy exchange of existing modules, expansion of a system to its full frame capability, or an upgrade to a new signal format. We offer a wide range of small routers: 16x1, 8x8, 8x16, 16x16 and 32x32 analog and/or digital routers, and an analog 16x2 with input signal clamping.What is unique about the INNOVATION routers?
- The front-loading boards allow for maximum flexibility in that all switchers in the range have been designed for ease of service and upgradability
- There are no 'wall worts'. Each matrix frame has slots for a main and a redundant power supply. The cradle assembly housing remote control panels also contains an internal power supply thus obviating the need for external supplies.
- Our serial protocol is very easy to work with making interface of the routers to third party control systems easy. ISIS routing switchers have been interfaced to NVision control systems, Crestron, AMX, and Vista Control Systems; the routers are eminently suitable for interface to other automation systems.
The ISIS routers are known for their rugged construction. Some extra touches are:
- Rigid steel frames for added strength in racks
- Latches on power supplies keep them in place, thus maintaining secure seating
- Rigid metal card guides so there is no flexing; The guides hold boards in place and reduce or eliminate board or frame warping
- Solid aluminum stiffeners are applied to full rack width cross-point boards to eliminate any warping of the boards
- Tabs in top and bottom covers to ensure no movement of motherboard - eliminates warping or shifting and ensures secure seating
- Extended top, bottom and side plates to protect rear connectors
What makes these routers appropriate for critical path applications?
ISIS switchers are ideal for critical path uses. In addition to a rugged design, we have included special features to make them reliable in the most sensitive functions:
- Hot swappable, front-loading boards can be replaced almost instantly
- Optional redundant power supplies in the frame, not on the shelf
- All major agency approvals - UL, FCC, CSA, and CE
What options can I choose?
You can customize ISIS routers based on your requirements. Options include:
- Analog or SDI video
- Analog or AES/EBU audio
- Full range of local and/or remote control panels
- Dual power supplies available in the matrix frame
Our philosophy is to offer modular products that allow you to buy only what you need. We don't bundle in features that cost you money and won't ever be used.

It is very possible that we can work with you to produce a customized solution. Out extensive industry experience and flexibility allow us to respond to requirements in a way that many larger organizations cannot. How long is your warranty?
We offer a 7-year warranty on all INNOVATION routing switchers and options. Warranty includes parts and labor.How do I get support?

We have had no failures since we started shipping the INNOVATION line in 1999. Every problem reported has been addressed to the users' complete satisfaction.How hard are these switchers to troubleshoot and repair?
ISIS designed the INNOVATION switchers for convenience and ease-of-use. For example, all boards are accessible from the front of the box, and you can hot-swap boards as needed without a screwdriver and without stripping the frames from the installation.What if I don't like your switchers once I have them?
We guarantee our products. If you are not happy, you may return any ISIS product without question within 30 days of shipment. We firmly believe we can meet your needs - but we would not want anyone to have one of our products and be unhappy with it! We do ask that you let us know of anything about our products we can improve.
