Resolution: The 8x8 and 16x16 switcher configurations support all computer graphics resolution standards from VGA to QSXGA. The 32x32 switcher supports standards from VGA to QXGA. All switchers will also handle HDTV, S-video, composite and component NTSC/PAL formats.

Signal integrity: Utmost care has been taken in the design of the ISIS RGBHV routing switchers to ensure that input to output signal integrity is maintained throughout. The application of true, phase linear technology provides for distortion free high resolution images through the switchers. All input and output impedances are accurate to 0.1%, thus guaranteeing that gain uniformity will be held within a +/- 0.1dB. Audio options: Every INNOVATION RGBHV router has a 15 pin frame to frame 'D' sub-expansion connector. One popular use of this connector is to tie the control system of the RGBHV switcher to an INNOVATION stereo analog or AES digital audio router. By using a separate frame for the audio matrix, ISIS is able to obtain total isolation of the audio and video signal paths. Analog audio switchers conform to full professional audio performance specifications. This includes true +26dBu output levels. Input and output connections are made via three pin (Weco brand) removable screw compression connectors. This is much easier to work with compared to systems using five pin connectors for each stereo pair. AES digital audio systems can be either single stream (stereo) or dual-steam (two stereo paths) in 110 ohm Weco I/O.

Faster installation: The ISIS RGBHV switchers use industry-standard HD-15 connectors for inputs and outputs. The use of HD-15 connectors reduces installation time to one fifth of the time it takes to install a comparible configuration that uses BNC type connectors.

Smaller size: By using the HD-15 connectors the switcher frames are less than half the vertical size of any other line of RGBHV switchers.

Rugged mechanical design: All ISIS RGBHV switchers are designed to satisfy the most arduous operating conditions and environments. The mechanical designs are extra rugged to withstand the rigors of the rental and staging industry.

Control panels: A comprehensive range of X-Y and single bus control panels is available with buttons which have excellent tactile feedback and re-ledgendable inserts. Most control panels can be mounted locally in the switcher frame and all can be mounted at a remote location, by using the ISIS control panel cradle assembly. Remote panels interconnect via a robust 10Base2 Ethernet-simple coax-based control system.

RS232 control: The built in RS232 port provides 'plug-n-play' connection of the ISIS RGBHV switchers to many third party control systems, for example: NVision, Crestron, AMX and Vista Control Systems

Audio/video breakaway: The RS232 and control panels provide for breakaway of audio or video from its corresponding mate. The user can, at any time, separate an audio from a video source or a video source from an audio source. These functions can be achieved with a minimum of key strokes at the panel, giving the user a great deal of operational flexibility. The control system includes four levels of breakaway.

Easy use protocol: The serial interface protocol is a set of basic ASCII code commands. The ISIS protocol has been designed to be short, simple, flexible, and easy to work with. The protocol is available on the ISIS web site. Click here for download.

IP network control: The 10Base2 control bus is based on TCP/IP protocols with a unique IP address for every remote control panel and frame controller. This provides a means of connecting INNOVATION switchers to any standard TCP/IP LAN or the Internet via a PC.

Signal security: All of the switchers in the ISIS INNOVATION range exceed the low emissions requirements of the various agencies and they are certified by CE in Europe for emissions and susceptibility requirements.

Serial digital interface: Serial Digital Interface - SDI - is quickly becoming an essential element and requirement of the presentation and live events industry. ISIS has the answer and SDI switchers can be added to any of the ISIS RGBHV base switcher configurations.

Rapid exchange: The design is modular, thus supporting a MTTR (mean time to repair) of less than one minute.
