The ISIS VDD-102 is the newest generation of inexpensive 8-output serial digital precision video distribution amplifier. It combines outstanding output density and unmatched low cost per output, along with extremely reliable surface-mount components.
This SDI amplifier fulfills the requirements for a high performance, precision digital video amplifier. Uses include broadcast purpose distribution of serial composite and component signals. The unit includes automatic input cable equalization and input signal reclocking, which are required for serial video distribution over longer distances (up to 300 meters of Belden 8281).
The VDD-102 will accept any of the present standards and will automatically switch to reclock the input signal at the appropriate frequency. One of 4 LED indicators on the module will light to show which signal is present.
Up to 10 of the VDD-102 SDI amplifiers can be mounted in the ISIS VMF-100 2RU frame, and the module is also pin-compatible with the new Leitch* FR-6801/6802 Series of video mounting frames.
