The ARTS-201B functions as an input transfer unit that can switch between two sets of analog input signals, A and B, automatically or manually, using either a local or a remote A/B switch. The ARTS-201B upgrades the popular ARTS-201 switcher with several enhancements: * Users can determine whether the unit returns to the A input upon return of the A signal, or remains on the B input until manually returned to the A input. * Upon loss of power to the changeover unit, relays for both the video and audio signal inputs allow the A input signal to be re-routed to the #1 output, bypassing the changeover function. * Users choose whether the unit powers up in automatic or manual mode. The ARTS and DRTS units include audio, space for optional redundant power supplies in the frame, GPI connections for user-supplied alarms, and front-loading, hot-swappable modules.
